Year 11 Leavers' Ceremony
On the 18th of June we said goodbye to our Class of 2025 and what an emotional event it was.
We were fortunate to have secured Elliot Powell as our guest speaker at the event. Elliot is currently the Manager of Jersey Bulls and as you might imagine, his speech was fairly sports centric.
The underlying message, however, was very much ‘never give up’. With determination and perseverance you can achieve what you want to achieve and certainly never let anybody else manage your aspirations and goals, own it and aim high! Grasp every opportunity that is offered, you never know where it will take you!
We hope this resonated with our students and they will take this message with them through the next stage of their lives.
It was fabulous to see all our students looking so smart and smiling, not least because the GCSE exams have now finished!
We will see them all again at their Prom, although we may not recognise some of them!
Wishing the students and their families a great summer, and good luck for your exam results in August.
