Safeguarding at Haute Vallée School

If you have a general concern about your child’s wellbeing, you should contact their Form Tutor or Head of Year in the first instance.

They will listen carefully to your concerns and take appropriate action.

For safeguarding concerns, please contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or a member of the Safeguarding Team.

All safeguarding concerns will be recorded, shared and referred to the appropriate agencies in line with our safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance.

If you are unsure who to contact, please contact the Safeguarding Team, who will ensure your concern is directed appropriately.

At Haute Vallée School, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. We work in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and local Safeguarding Partnership guidance to ensure that all concerns are taken seriously, acted upon promptly, and that children receive the right help at the right time.

We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive environment in which all students feel valued, respected and able to speak openly. Our Safeguarding Team works closely with staff, families and external agencies to ensure that any concerns about a child’s welfare are responded to effectively and in accordance with established safeguarding procedures.
