We took over 40 students from Year 7 to the Languages Eisteddfod, performing in different classes between 9 to 13 March. It was the largest number of students we have ever entered, with two French choirs gaining gold and runners up with ‘Sur Ma Route’.
We had some fantastic performances in the duologues with some lively performances in French (please note the costumes) as well as a poem written and performed by Thea herself and Luana who recited a poem off by heart.
David and Maya performed in Romanian and Sophia and Maya performed in Spanish. Maya took part in 4 events! Others did 2 or occasionally 3 events.
On Saturday, 3 students from HV performed brilliantly in the Portuguese Eisteddfod; Nayara, Kelly, Matilde.
All students did themselves and the school extremely proud.
The hunt is on for next year’s French songs!
