Wellbeing Week.
Recently teachers at our school took part in Wellbeing Week, an initiative run by Mrs Roberts.
Wellbeing Week is all about being kind to yourself and others around you, for example doing something that makes you feel good like exercising, but you do not have to, you can also make getting to lessons fun! Like taking 50 lunges en-route, or being with your friends, and you can do lots of activities outside of school as well to support your wellbeing.
There were lots of form activities where students could also get involved and learn the importance of self-care.
Wellbeing Week is about having fun and caring for one another, making time to talk, you can also have such fun in lessons. Interactive learning can be fun!
We learned that walking outside at break or lunchtime while surrounded by nature is good for your mental health.
We also had bingo sheets and crossed activities off as we completed them which was fun. We also did ‘Just Dance’ which was a lot of fun! Just know you are not going to be forced to do anything you do not want to do, except schoolwork!
The aim of the week was to equip students and staff with knowledge and skills to manage their health, support others, and promote overall life satisfaction and potential at school.
